This was formally a two-bedroom flat that had a large garden but suffered internally due to a lack of space and light. Working with the architect, the property was completely re-configured to create an extra bedroom and bathroom, with the kitchen and upper bedroom space knocked through to create a bright, modern and flexible living space. Landscaping of the rear garden completed the transformation.
Our client wished to transform the rear of their period home into a modern, open-plan entertaining space with the 'wow factor'. This was achieved by extending, creating a cedar-clad internal courtyard and extensively landscaping the rear garden. What was formally the kitchen space then became a sleek kitchen/diner with TV lounge, fireplace and outside barbecue space with hot-tub.
